Episode 24: The Fearless and the Pitiless

John the Fearless and his army first gathered at the French City of Tournai before heading to Liege through Brabant. John linked up with his brother-in-law William of Bavaria by the Liegeois city of Tongres where they heard that the Army of the Liege Rebels broke off their siege of Maastrict to face them in the field. The two armies met in Battle near the town of Othee.

John the Fearless controls Paris, but his brother-in-law John of Bavaria is in the process of losing control of his territory, the Prince-Bishopric of Liege. To save John of Bavaria’s skin, John the Fearless will team up with his other brother-in-law William of Bavaria and leave France to his domestic enemies in order to secure Burgundian influence over the Low Countries.
