Episode 31: The Manifesto

Many of the Armagnacs of Paris are massacred after a failed attempt to retake the capital. These massacres were sparked by rumors of Armagnac atrocities and a desire for revenge after years of repressive rule. In their aftermath the ongoing negotiations between the Armagnacs and Burgundians broke down.

The Armagnac-Burgundian Civil War is at a fever pitch yet again. John the Fearless has launched a major expedition into the Ile de France while the Count of Armagnac struggles to maintain Armagnac control of Paris. Meanwhile, King Henry V of England has taken advantage of the chaos in France and launched another invasion of Normandy.
