Episode 41: Joan of Arc Part 2 – The Militant

Joan of Arc stands next to Charles VII as he is crowned at Reims painted by Jules Eugene Lenepveu. The march from the Loire to Reims took Charles and Joan through hundreds of kilometers of hostile Burgundian territory.

Joan of Arc had arrived at the Dauphin’s court claiming that she would relieve the Siege of Orleans and lead the prince to Reims to be crowned. After successfully chasing the English away from Orleans, it was time to get Charles VII his crown.
